Nick Persuit race star is at 1030 so you should be ok. As the fireflies etc will have to go first( thats a point can I borrow a Mirror for the race)

Hmmm maybe I should bring Saskia - she likes pursuit races, though sometimes gets lonely without other boats to slow her down...
Anyone seen a long range forecast yet?

I'm not sure about a long range forecast but today has been nothing short of orrible down at the club. Everything is sodden!!

BUT it will improve. THink back to last year and the terrible weather leading up to Netley, the next thing was the Saturday dawned bright and sunny!

I'm hoping to get down to Netley. Unfortunately the Graduate needs some work and Catherine is working so I will probably be available as a crew if anyone wants to take a chance.

Would you fit in the front end of a Firefly, Martin? Anything up to about 11 stone is fine, after that, the cramp and bashed head become a problem!

Well, Saskia will be coming to play, with Matt Andrews at the front end (son of JPA, who bought Blast From the Past, the fastest Peggie in the west, who will also be racing) so my knees may still be in one piece by the end, unlike if I'd brought the Moth...too old, I am...Now I just need to find that DSM which had the write up of the sailing water, and try and uderstand it, this time. Tides. Waves. Salt. Oh, dear...
