Hi Brooksey

I might need to borrow a Finn if there's one available - not sure I can shoehorn myself into the OK again!! Otherwise I'd be happy to run about in the front of 350 if you don't mind adding considerable weight and my fading memory of how the genny works....

Jamie,
350 is being sailed by Alan Williams with his old Hornet crew, so his Taylor Finn will be available, or failing that I have just acquired a nice South African Morrison Finn which should hopefully be ready by then.
With the posibility of ten classic Finns attending I was spoiled for choice, so offered the FD to Alan, but I believe another FD is also now attending, so it is looking to be a good entry allround.

Hi Jamie
You are more than welcome to sail my Finn which is reasonably competative if pointed in the right direction. It would be good to see you again.

Sounds like we have a plan - 10 Finns sounds like good sport! I've only sailed one once so me thinks it could be a steep learning curve!!!! My weight is currently 107kg - I don't know if that has a bearing on which boat you guys are willing to lend me.

Two Dutchmen is almost an open meeting..... In fact, it's almost a Nationals..... Big turnout for the Worlds though - it felt strange not being there. We're aiming to be arriving on Friday so I'll be around if either of the FD's need boring to death about set-up/tuning.

You should be spot on for Alan (god's) boat, and I would be gratefull for any advice on 350 now she complete, sadly my crew has gone offshore so I have not been able to use it as planned.
Look forward to seeing you.

Perfect - borrowing the 'Boat of God'. No pressure then.

No worries taking a look at 350 - happy to go for a splash after racing if it helps. Which other FD is muttering about coming?

Hi Guy's
Should have proof read. Thanks for the p--- take as I now know that my key board is sticking, quess which keys. Once tried walking on water whilst parasending did n't work then would not work now as twice the weight. However science has calculated that if a human could run at 70 mph they could run on water.
See you all at Roadford.
Regards Al

... and on Titan you could fit goose feather wings and fly, as the air is thick enough and the gravity low enough!!!

Ohh. Don't think I've come accross 233. We had 238 as our first FD - quickly changed up when I started pulling it apart quicker than we could fix it

Alan - do I need to pick the boat up from somewhere or how do you want the logistics to work? I'll try and send a PM with my phone number so we can discuss.

My boat lives at Roadford. I'll be there from the Wednesday before the event, all gear will be in the boat.

Eeek! It's somewhere safe. Hopefully.
I know the duck and the base were temporarily separated - I have a small boy who was very excited that the duck glowed in the dark. I'll have a dig and keep you informed Rog!
