I do soooo, enjoy this banter.

If this is typical of CVRDA humour, we will have great fun at Oulton Broad. Indeed, I wonder if you will all fit in too well!!

Jon

(Indeed not sure that I will be able to keep up!!)

And anyway - stop hijacking my thread, this is about Oulton Week - not dresses

Jon you will get your sticky when you become the next event on the calender. It is only fair to give highest publicity to the next one on the list.
It is not a competition to see who can get the most posts. After all we are not Y&Y or sailinig Anarchy i would hope we are far more mature than that.

As far as I'm concerned, a forum is only a forum if people are posting, and therefore communicating. Otherwise, it just feels like a party where no one else turns up. It is good that the Oulton event generates posts, but the event is still a ways away and I imagine the events inbetween will garner plenty of traffic. I hope so, anyway.

Jon I didnt want it to be seen as a critiscm(spelling?) I was just pointing out that each club gets its sticky in time. If you wish to keep posting to keep Oulton at the top of the list thats fine and I have done my bit to help you.

Roger

Have you seen the new foiling Jolly Boat?? I could beat Doug Lord into a cocked hat!!!, and as for GRF, he does actually speak some sense (although I will never tell him that!!). Any way not sure we should talk about other forums, possibly bad etiquete!! (My spelling is attrociuos!!)

That really does look wonderful. I can just see a fleet of classic dinghies fitting in there with that lot.

Dare I say, I told you so!!! (I don't mean just you Rupert, but was being cheeky generally!!)

The pictures were taken by one of the cruiser girls, she will be there this year, and may get some good shots of classic dinghies..
