Re: Shearwater next!
after consulting my driver, it looks as though it will be the Mirror although I have been given a lecture on using a pink burgee with the red sails

Re: Shearwater next!
Maybe we should double stack ours down there with Saskia, and give you some company.

Re: Shearwater next!
If we did do that, I expect it would be with a very small crew, so no real difference!

Re: Shearwater next!
Hope you all have Shearwater in your diary.
If anyone wants to come and borrow a boat rather than bring one let us know. I'm sure we can arrange something.
First race is usually 11.00am, light lunch available and of course tea and cakes to end the day.

Looking forward to my first sail since Clwedog. The Green Goddess will be making an appearance with light weight crew so no gales please.

No gales forecast, but the name of a well known Bristol chandlery springs to mind

Could be either the one in Ashton Gate or the one in the docks, the forecast I just saw...though gusting the one in the docks, maybe!

Re: Shearwater next!
With or without the stirrup pump? The Green Goddess will be making an appearance
Reminder to self - wear full drysuit. I recall a Shearwater "last thrash" featuring the green goddess with water cannon and its helm trying to climb Lark rigging in attempt to capsize it.

Re: Shearwater next!
Is the 1st race at 11? I'm going to have to get the Firefly packed up Saturday morning before we leave, and might struggle if it is any earlier. Mind you, I think Kathryn will be sailing with C crewing and me as trolley dolly. Is P allowed to use her 6' long canoe on the lake in the landing area?
