Weren't there comments earlier on here about flower power and the retro look to go with the boats? Mind, a black tie do looks pretty 60's, too...

Michael, enlighten us, please - I'm not sure any of us own posh frocks...

Yes, you were right.....there was also mention of 60's dress...

I did notice further down the images that there were other shots of people in a marquee with normal togs on....so maybe it isn't such a big issue....

but yes, Michael do tell us.

We are hoping to get there for Friday afternoon.

Although currently.....I can't get the centre-board in the boat.....and the boat needs to be fitted to the trailer....but hey-ho....I can see a day of leave coming on to get it all sorted.

I'm still debating 9pm friday or early saturday for arrival, Ed. I rather like early morning travel, though, so that is more likely.

Is there an option to attend for 1 day only? I can't make the Saturday but would love to come for the Sunday however from what I can tell, its a strictly 2 day event. Is that right?

Hi Ben, your best bet would be to email Peter Shaw at Bosham

I think the party for the Penguin suits is a prize-giving do. (Looks like a few trophies being bandied about.)

The revival week-end I am sure is mainly a booze up and a band. ("The Mustangs")

Hi all,

Just had a long conversation with Andrew Young from Bosham,

He is asking for last minute entries please so they can sort the catering etc. You may be able to enter on the day but they would prefer to know.

Also see the email below there are polo shirts available etc.

Hi All,

Sorry re-sending as I forgot to include the photos....!

A last minute offer to all participants in the coming weekends Bosham Classic Boat Revival.....

We have some very nice Henbury Polo Shirts embroidered with our logo.

We have the chance to order some for delivery this Friday......but the snag is we need to know by 3PM today......

......if we order tomorrow Thursday we may get them for Friday PM but not guaranteed. They would then only be available after the weekend.

The two Colours shown in the attached images are modeled by our joint ClassicDay Boat Class Captains: Peter Shaw in Navy Blue and Jo Lorimer-Green in Ocean

The prices is £ 25 each incl VAT...for the shirts not the models....! The prices reflect the very intricate logo and high speed turn around....!

The ladies style is HB 121 is available in sizes: XS/8 S/10 M/12 L/14 XL/16 XXL/18 3XL/20 see details here http://bit.ly/kfGWiu

The gents style is HB100 and is available in sizes: XS S M L XL XXL 3XL 4XL 5 XL see details here: http://bit.ly/jGmwDE

If you would like to order, please email me back or call me ASAP with the size/colour and if ladies or gents fit.

We will also be able to take any orders over the weekend for delivery after event.
This would give you the chance to chose from a wider range of colours.

We request that orders are paid for in advance by card over the phone.

Any orders will be subject to stocks of the base shirt and timely delivery to our local supplier.

Cheers

Andrew Young

Many Thanks to Bosham for a memorable event.

Wonderful hospitality from the club and Classic Day boat fleet. The range of weather and entertainment to test us was awsome. From demolition derby weather on Saturday  through a storming blues and rythm set on Saturday night 8) to mudskipping and sunburning on Sunday  the weekend brought back all my happiest memories of the harbour. :) :D

I shall endeavour to put together a report of the racing and the rest in the next few days.
