Excellent news! Can't imagine a Nationals with no Jollyboats leading the way.

Not long to go, now!

Made a decision about the Saturday BBQ today. For those of you for whom it will be difficult to get meat in to cook, I'll get some sausages and burgers in, and some veggie versions. Anyone wanting anything more complex will still have to sort it themselves, mind!

Also, I just happen to have come into the posession of a couple of crates of little french beers, which I'm sure will wash things down well...

Friday evening...

Who is likely to be coming to dinner at the pub on Friday night (26th)? It has occurred to me that I may need to tell them we are coming...

That would be good to see, Mark - nice to get some more unusual boats.

SUNDAY NIGHT FOOD: my plan for a fish and chip supper might have hit the rocks. My alternative plan is to have lots of family sized Pizzas delivered, lots of different toppings, and have a bit of a Pizza fest. Does this appeal?

Please reply, as it is difficult to plan if no feed (pun intended, if not good) back on such things.

Mostly, I need to know if there are any sailors coming who hate pizza with a passion. If I hear nothing, I shall assume you are all like me, and can eat Pizza all night long...

Sounds like a good plan, Mark. Yes, the camping is in the field on the left of the road. If I'm not there, (off hunting supplies, maybe) I'm sure someone in the Andrews clan will make you welcome! Pizza is for Sunday night - Saturday will be an Outdoor Grill (as the use of the B word appears to cause rain...)

Chris, do you want to race for the Cotton Sail Challenge on Saturday or Sunday, or run it during the Monday PM Pursuit race?

We could use the weather forecast to determine the cotton challenge day?

Also hope to arrive Saturday morning. As I am still in a bit of a muddle with the move is it OK to sleep in the car? Is there breakfast available on Sunday and Monday? Am I Ok for a crew Rupert. A host of questions I know for which many apologies.

I am all in favour of the weather forecast idea for the CSChallenge. I am bringing Gannet this time.

Hi Garry,

in reverse order, yes, I hope I have found you a whole family of crews, I'm planning on buying a shed load of cornflakes and milk for breakfast on the house, and you can sleep in your car, but it may be possible to track down a tent for you if you prefer. A certainty, in fact.
