Peter, camping is a vexed issue at the moment, but I will see what I can find out for you. If need be I can find someone locally to accommodate you!

Presumably someone is going to bring some results calculation software?

At the moment turnout is looking very good, especially from the home club. My moth might still need a driver if I can find enough duck tape to hold it together. (That is not a joke)

I also have a good supply of crews.

We're now expecting around 25 boats provided the weather is good ie not too windy. Marcia is coming again to do photos, and there will be bacon butties from around 9.30 am. Please let me know if you're coming and not currently on my list, and also if you want to come for the meal out in St ives in the evening.

Angie and I are up for a meal at the pub again. I suspect Garry and Trish will be in as well.

Thats odd I am sure it said St Ives Cambridge when I copied the link.

Still it looks windy. Downwind all the way there from Somerset.

Probably wont be flying the cotton kite then.

gusting 24/25 mph on saturday, stronger on Sunday! ( in Cambridge anyway)

Roger, check your insurance covers your wooden mast...and when - sorry 'if'-it breaks don't let it go through the deck. Lois has got much better at pushing the falling bits away from the boat, but it does take practice!

If it's too string for Shoestrong, sorry, too strong for Shoestring you are welcome to helm Gannet as you did at Clywedog as it may be a bit much for me as a helm. I'll have the alloy mast. Have also just found thst the MOT has run out on the car so that is being done tomorrow. Roger, will give you a call to arrange meeting up.

Anybody passing nearby Purton on the way up who could take Merlin sailor Ben Marshall's jumper back to him, please? Otherwise I'll post it.
