Not me Rupert, but I am getting out for a training day at SHSC this Saturday. First sail of the year, I feel better already!

Hi,

Me and my crew are in. However i've not managed to get Sledgehammer MR3146
ready yet about 2 weeks to go I think.

Is the option posted earlier in the thread about using club boats still viable? if so we will be there but can someone just either put a post or message me on either bullitt3504@hotmail.co.uk or 07903801335 just to confirm please

Cheers

Luke

I'm not sure - there is a Level 3 course on the same weekend, so it may depend upon how many takers it has had. I'll try and find out and let you know.

Had an email from Roger Witts about British Moths, and it looks like we are getting a good turnout from there, too.

For those staying the weekend, what views are there on getting food on the Saturday night?

I'd been thinking of the pub originally, but it seems there may be too many around for that to work well? Would people be interested in doing the Pizza thing like we did at the Nationals?

Who is planning on sticking around to eat after?

the level 3 course does not have many takers yet so yes - I think so. I will check with PB and confirm by the end of Saturday 17th when I will be meeting him).

Looks like there will be a couple of Comet Trios available on the day, so you'll be OK there, Luke.

I'd love to know what people have booked (if anything!) too...

Luke, the easiest would probably be the Swindon North Premier Inn (about 10 mins away), which I just looked up again, and it is currently £59 for a twin room.

But if others have booked elsewhere, it might be nice to stick together?

Either John or I will make sure a boat is reserved for you.

Hi Rupert,

I will be coming as will Colin.

The plan at the moment is to bring the Megabyte and the Beachcomber (but the latter may not be the best vehicle for race training).

Colin also has a Vago that I could ask him to bring if we are running out of boat seats.

The current plan is to commute each day but leave the boats on Saturday night if that is OK.

Monday and Tuesday booked off for physio :) .

Do we have a scheduled start time?

Hi Nigel,

No problem with boat seats, as we have some Trios to use. Beachcomber should fit in well with the Minisails and aquabat!

Idea is to be rigged and changed for a briefing at 10.30.

Full programme here

http://www.cvrda.org/wp-cvrda/?page_id=282&event_id=22

No problem with leaving boats.

Hi Rupert,

I should be coming with my sister, with trebors help, but it turns out I can't take my fireball, so could I 'reserve' a trio? I can't wait until this day!!! It sounds great fun :)

Thanks,
Max
