Charles Smith at Frensham Pond has made arrangements with his committee for cvrda to hold a classics event there on July 16th 17th 2005. For those who don't know, Frensham Pond is near Farnham, in the south east of England. A delightful old fashioned looking club with excellent facilities and friendly members. well worth a visit!
The water is big enough for large boats to race on, though I don't know if there is a length limit. Was one of the best events of 2004, so lets make it bigger and better next year.

Indeed there is, infact there's room for a pony !! :)

Actually we are having a discussion with the dealer at the moment about the leaks in our tent. If the result is unsatisfactory we may be changing brands !! [:(!]

Well thanks Rupert, I t has only just become common knowledge. We knew at Roadford but that was before the date we'd decided to tell. Hence the reason for me buying a cvrda singlehander. :D

Congratulations Liz and Stu. So that's why Liz wasn't sailing at Roadford...but only painting filling and more painting the 12!!
Yes Frensham was a very good event last year, nice evening meal too put on in the clubhouse (as long as Charles behaves himself with the squirty cream this time! Good campsite only a mile away too.

Actually, the water at Frensham is large enough for IC's. but 17'is over the limit we are allowed, which is 16', but if I really thought a couple of IC's were coming I guess we could stretch a point !

Regards

Nick

In the case of an IC it would have to be 2 points...
