Well said Jim, I couldn't agree with you more! One is a really nice sailing club, the other...well, I think I've described it pretty well already. After working a couple of Sail for Golds and other supposed 'Top' events I 'd gotten the 'feel' of the place and it is not something that I'd care to have to do too often.

Incidentally, the Darts had their worlds there just a while back and there were more than a few grumbles! I saw a bulk supply of catering pack doughnuts (it's a world class sporting venue so helping 'athletes' with their balanced diet is important) being loaded out onto the shelves to sell for 90p a pop - if I'd not been on the RYA 'tab' a week there would have cost a fortune!

Certainly last years' NSSA Champs participants had nothing good to say. If they get as many as say they are going to ther handicap event in August they will not cope well.

Could the BBSC Open be added to the list of events?

I have, yes, thanks. I've had a quick read through and it all seems to make sense.

What usually happens is all the info gets put onto the page for the event that links from the front page of the main forum (so if you click on the WSC training event, for instance, you'll see stuff relating to that event). Best thing to do, I'd think, is to get the NOR filled in simply for Blithfield, and then Pat or I (If I can remember my log-in details) can post it up for you. People organizing other events can them simply steal the format if they so wish!

Yeah,

I'll have a chat with Pete on the Blithfield specific NoR. We didnt sail this Sunday in the end as no-one without a 4x4 could get to the club.

Looks like there should be a good season.

Can't wait!!!

Added the details and a contact form entry for the event - never publish emails on the web (unless you want offers of dodgy degrees or v****a)

We now have an additional meeting, filling that early autumn slot, Saturday 28 September at Banbury SC. A welcome return.
