Who's coming to Roadford

Post by alan williams »

Hi
To get a rough idea of how much food we need to buy. If you are thinking of coming to Roadford could you please let me know. We already have 14 hungry Finn sailors.
Thanks Alan

One Ox each? Is that all? Although, I suppose we wont be working up much of an appetite with the ban on free pumping... :(

Free pumping is banned specifically for the Roadford Nationals - it's in the Notice of Race on the front page.

Someone has no sense of fun....

Ha,

Didn't realise that...

must just be a plan to stop you young turks having too much of an advantage due to the fact you can still run a 100m in under 20s.

It was to reduce the number of ambulances called to the lake...

Is that 3 pumps per wave or gust to promote surfing / planing?

Just asking.... :D

Hi Alan

John and I will be bringing "Two Horses" aka 1936 Uffa King National 12 #33 , as per last year . I do have to check how much of the boat the field mice have eaten over the winter!

Thanks for organising ....

I can confirm that my Firefly will be there, sailed by Jemma Stitson and crew and hopefully I will be there in the Jollyboat.

I am still looking for crew......so if you know anyone who is up for a couple of days hanging on the wire, get in contact.

cheers

Yes, looking forward to mothing at Roadford.

Don't know about all that pumping business in Finns, I spend all my time trying NOT to wobble!!!

I'll have a small ox (already far too heavy for a moth) and a veggie ox for my Trolly Dolly.
