Hunts Rally

Post by alan watson » Wed Feb 19, 2014 10:43 pm

Hi All Those Moths Planning to sail at Hunts,

In a moment of utter muppetry I have partly caused a diary snaffle and I cant now come to the Hunts Rally. I was really looking forward to meeting other Moth sailors and to sailing there. So I am really sorry not to support the event which I hope will be the first of many with a bit of a Moth focus.

Sorry Chris and I won't be able to attend this year as we have had to move our sailing holiday forward to May from October - to accommodate Amy, who will be somewhere in the Indian Ocean in October on a square rigger. Shame but we will think about you as we laze on deck in the mediterranean sun!!!!! :(

If we make it (daughter unsure about spending 1/2 her birthday in the car) I can bring sails further south west.

It's a pity we didn't know about the sails a few days ago as we picked up the Merlin from Mike last Friday and passed the club!

But we'll be up for the Hunts weekend so can offer our usual removals service.

With the confusion that having 2 threads about an event can cause, I am going to lock this thread, so that we can all converse about Hunts on the thread that Nessa has running already, where she will be updating info about the weekend.
