Post by Nessa »

Is there any more information? Who is going? I am planning on taking the Solo, unless someone has anything better to offer!

Tim and Pat plugged Banbury at the Nats, and they are looking forward to as many visitors as can make it.

I'm still planning on taking the solo, since that's what I bought it for. I expect to sell it once Aggie is ready. Her Indoors is staunchly resisting crewing opportunities.

Does anyone know if dogs are allowed?

Saw Mikey today, he is hoping to take Squirrel if the weather is good.

A big thank you to Tim and Pat, and all the team at Banbury for a well organised event today. The disappearing wind was a challenge for all of us, and a nightmare for the Race Officer who did his best to set good courses only for them to be dashed by the fickle winds.
It was great to see such a wide spectrum of boats and many new converts to the classic scene.

Looking forward to another one next year

Sorry not to make it, I was a victim of internet weather prediction. I am currently of a much larger weight than suits the so slow, and the thought of crouching in it in that weather did not appeal.

I need a bigger boat.

A great day despite the weather (or lack of it!).

I think a lot of us learnt some stuff about light weather sailing....

Many, many thanks to Pat and Tim for organising a superb event, the food and the jazz band were out of this world....

Good to see old friends there and some new ones, hope we can get together again soon.....

Yes
Thanks Banbury
The food and cake were worth the 5 hr drive up On return after dropping the boat off at Roadford got home a 1'0clock. Both Seonaidh and I agreed great day, shame about the wind. RO did a very good job dealing with the difficult conditions. Will be back next year .
Cheers Alan
