They'd have to be big enough to get the car down them, it's a drive to the pub!

We could car share then come back for more serious drinking to give the drivers the same handicap as everyone else on Saturday morning.

looks like booking advisable so if you are up for it Friday night, reply and we can book a table.

The CVRDA have exclusive rights to the BBQ on both Friday and Saturday evenings so bring a beer and join in with the banter.

Is Friday bring and burn then Al?
We're heading down tomorrow having hidden the old Tupperware inside a newly made undercover - last strap just sewn on.

Even more betterer. Will double up on the emergency supplies of beer - Directors was on offer so lots of that.

See you all Friday ( or Saturday)

For those bored on the journey, look out for a grey Mazda CX-5 towing a double decker trailer and give me a wave :)

We do normally set up a veggie bbq....but I can't promise, so would of thought it would be a good precaution.

Hope to get up there at some stage tomorrow, although it may be only on the motorcycle, as still have to sort out some proper transport.

cheers

The Barlows are coming in force on Friday! Bringing the Toy and Int 14 plus Myfanwy and Dreamer...... Our campers for those who don't know us. Just finished the accounts this afternoon ready for AGM which I assume is Saturday Eve before festivities. My helm's birthday on the Saturday so who knows what we can expect! Really looking forward to coming to Roadford again. Amy has made us a cotton jib for the 14, she really learnt some useful skills on her year away at sea! We aim to be there after lunchtime.

Wish I could be there, forecast looks great. Running a junior group adventure day here, though. Should be fun, but would have been good to get some Whelan boats on the road again.

Agh....

things are going backwards.

Took Thursday and Friday off as leave to prepare boats and finish IOM.....

Last w/end bought a new (to me) baby fiat for family to go up to Beach tomorrow and I could use the Landie, to tow up to Roadford.....so of course....

Rear wheel bearing on Landie has totally exploded. Not talking a bit of a whine here, but more 'shit are those lumps of crap the rollers' type of thing.

And whilst I am swearing at the landie, look at the Fiat and see an ominous drip. Have a quick look and realise radiator totally shot.

Agh and double Agh!

So next two days are going to be about finding a new rad and removing destroyed and heat-welded in bearing cases......sigh...

Hope to be with you at some stage...

Hi Guys
Yes Friday night as Pat says is a bring and burn BBQ. Nessa and the other Veggies I have brought some veggy burghers and sausages also a Family sized disposable barby If Could you bring your barby tools as mine have been used with meat. your barby would provide a base for the disposable if you bring it.
Hope to see you all soon.
