Indeed it is. And even at this late date it may be possible to borrow a boat to sail if anyone would like.

The boat is still very much a work in progress.
The Centreboard bungee issue, still not resolved, may have to tie board in down position.
The finish is not the best at moment, Paul keeps telling me to polish deck, but it is a boat that is going to have to work for a living, a "work boat not a show boat", I have already got "rubber" scuffs on hull, last night I dropped front off trailer, gaining a few chips.
I have no problem with anyone having a go, I had hoped to ask you if you would trial boat over a couple of weeks at Whitefriars, some months ago, Rupert, but it has taken me to the wire, and trialing will have to be done at the nationals.
I am having a break from it tonight.

If no Lightning storms, we can get her ready Friday night for a full test on Saturday!

unfortunately I cannot get there until saturday morning, their is however very little we can do now, just the centreboard, any issues we can discover this weekend will be addressed in phase 2.
I was very surprised how well it sailed last saturday, it felt right the second I left jetty, made me smile, (mostly relief) out pointed Rogers well set up Mirror, something I would have struggled to do with Aquabat.

Rob's boat worked really well all day Saturday. I had a couple of goes, and the batten sail set beautifully, the wings were good to sit on and all in all it felt very nice. A shame the tiller gave way on the Sunday, but the design is rubbish and the wood old. The bar for the mainsheet did flex rather, and the whole lot could be lighter, but as this was the prototype for a lighter version, I think it is well on the way to success.

Rob, you now need to be as single-minded in your actual sailing!

Thanks for vote of confidence,
I have started new Tiller,
Wings- sourcing materials.
I will be unlikely to get much better at sailing due to my mental health issues, but I will continue to have a go.lol.
