Nessa thank you I have just spoken to Jon, what a helpful man. An extra two boats insured for August and September for £21 bargain.

Is there anyone wanting to camp or campervan at the pub?

Yes please, we would quite like to stay at the pub carpark with the campervan if that's possible.

Regards

Could I have a tiny tent, or did they say no tents? If so, can I beg some floor space?

Still need a crew or happy to crew for some one else.

Floor space chez nous is no problem, We can probably provide a lilo if you have a sleeping bag.

What is the name of the pub that will accept motorhomes, I know that it is within 997m ish of Pat and Sandy but that is all.
Kate and I are thinking of staying over there on Saturday night.

Thanks Pat, definitely big. Because I have not had the opportunity to get Olwyn out of her shed it will have to be the Hit again. So Kate might well come for the pub bit in the evening and stay over. I will let you know.
Looks like there will be enough wind but from the wrong direction !!

Hello everyone expecting to come to Shearwater this weekend. All looking good.
There will be rolls, salad, cake, choccies and drinks (soft) available from the galley during both days. I will need to know if you want a meal at the pub in the evening when you register, so they can put aside enough tables for us. We will order as individuals, meals available from 6o'clock. We have booked the skittles alley from 9 for those wishing to stay on and socialise. Camper vans can stay there, there are no facilities though once the pub shuts.
It was the best we could manage as we aren't allowed to camp at Shearwater.
Anyone in dire need of accommodation please let us know. We have a fully booked house but there is still room in the garden!
Looking forward to a great w/e
Boats can be left overnight at the dinghy park. Might be worthwhile bringing a padlock for your road trailer or some way of disabling it. :)

The weather is going to be a hugh improvement over last year I guarantee!
I think there will be a good range of Old Classic and Vintage boats this time. Looking forward to the weekend.

Do come if you can especially if you have not been to an event before.

On the way home you could visit the new local visitor attraction at Westo-super-mare. Dismaland - a Bemusement Park . Brill as they say
