Post by Howlin »

Still looking to sell "Delirious"!1970's wood Shearwater. Reasonable nick, great fun, goes well. 2 spinnakers, 3 mains, 2 jibs. £200 and can help with delivery if needed.

I would love to take it off your hands (my father sailed a Shearwater in Burnham in the early sixties and brought it to Canada). But it would probably be way too expensive to ship it to Montreal.

Scott,

with the weak pound at present, maybe not so much as you would think.
Have you seen the article from Nick mockridge - he sent an old wooden Osprey all the way to San Diego!

The article - and pictures, are on sailing anarchy!

If things weren't so tight right now...I'd be shifting a boat back to teh UK from Australia!!

Can you look into it? I would have no idea even where to start.
From wherever you are to Montreal, Canada. If you could get it here for $1000 Canadian (boat included...) it will get a nice new home on a lake north of Montreal.
