Any thoughts on this?

Its in rather the wrong place to be noticed so could go for a real bargain if no one else notices it...
Well restored I believe it could be a fun Commitee boat at Shearwater (or somewhere similar) or even turn a tidy profit. In the Turk's auction these were going at about £1500!! If I can sneak away I might try and have a look. Doesn't seem too rotten. Actually wouldn't be so hard to strip as the ribs arent too close.
Want want want!! I have soo many happy memories of these.
Too many other pipedreams at the moment.

Ooooh! VERY nice.
Looks like the classic barn find.
Trailers for heavy 24ft boats are not so common... idly wondering what would happen if one sat it on an IC combi trailer (the one I have is certainly heavy enough!)
Suspect we will be put out of our misery by a professional buyer from one of the Thames yards.

They are actually not that heavy. Easily handled by 1 or 2 healthy men (or women).
The Overhang on an undersize trailer is not impossible if the suspension is not too hard, and the tipping point will e @ 12 feet, which added to the trailer weight makes them easy to trail. In an ideal world of course you would want to make up a longer, but narrowish wheelbase trailer, a bit like an oversize (length) jet ski trailer.
Let those little red men with pointy tails talk to you Andrew!!

Get thee behind me, Michael! I have a very dead I14 to rebuild...
The danger is past... price £310 with two days to go - safely out of my price bracket for something I certainly don't "need"...
