Apologies if this appears twice (I struggle with technology!)...it just looked cheap to my inexpert eye. I'll be passing on Friday if anyone wants me to cast a general eye over condition etc...not a MR expert but seen plenty...

The boat is a Morrison designed Phantom Kipper - basically a widened September Girl - by addition of extra "kipper plank". I have owned & sailed one of these. The design was successful in the 70's but lost out to the Gregory designed Ghost Rider. Should still be competitive at club level (inland club) with good sails & age related handicap. The Aln built boats a usually pretty sound. Check for rot in hog under mast step.

My Merlin was Phantom Kipper herself. Nice boat. Suited us as we were lightweights (sub 20 stone). Not a design for the obese though ....
Best wishes
