N12 2665

Post by ian60 » Sun Oct 26, 2014 6:26 pm

Whisper 4 about to be consigned to Guy Fawkes unless gone in the next week or so. Current owner gained the boat as part of a house purchase, is not a sailor and has little time available so any offer will probably be accepted. Bad news is that boat is now out in the open so will deteriorate further quite quickly. Ring me if you want to know more (01395 222136) as I saw the boat today.

Has some sails (getting wet), Needlespar black top, no cover, no trolley, ancient road trailer - suspension seems OK but couldn't check bearings. A few reasonable blocks, s/s shroud levers, c/b looks good. In Bradninch nr Exeter.

Link to N12 database http://www.national12.org/boats/index.p ... value=2665 which shows picture of boat in drier times.

Apparently the hull is to be turned into a tree house.... but I've negotiated with the new owner to remove any potentially useful bits. When done I will list them in case any are useful to someone else doing up a 12.
