National 18

I am enjoying sailing my National 18 and have decided I would like a newer one so am selling 287 - Whisp. Newer but still CVRDA eligible.

It is a very well made 1970 version, GRP hull with wooden deck, aluminum centreplate, metal rig, two sets of sails, milanes rudder & stock, double speed mainsheet (new), flotation under floor, traveller, overall well sorted and ready to race or cruise. The second set of sails could be cut down for cruising. Comes .with spare rudder, wooden centreboard, steel centreplate, purpose built trolley which sits on a well balanced road trailer. There are trapeze lines too though I have found they only get used on very windy days. Could be used as a great family day boat with loads of room and under for-deck storage. There is a nearly new boom up cover and an older flat cover. The hull is black. #1350 ono.
