Collection of fittings

Post by bornagainmothie »

A member of my club was having a garage clear-out and has given me a box of old fittings that may be better used on CVRDA boats. All items free to good home. I can bring items along to Banbury / use CVRDA courier service or post if anything urgently required.

Please could I bag the brass fittings and diamond spreaders for Merlin 40? I'm not sure what we have already but with the local group of truly vintage Merlins and Hornets, they are bound to find a use.

With those four handles you could build a "vintage" Merlin Rocket

Pat, Paul

I will take them with me to Banbury. Pleased you can find a use for them.

To build a vintage merlin from the handles would be unethical as they came from a Graduate!

I'm sure if you ask the right Merlin sailor nicely they could be screwed onto a vintage merlin and then taken off again with provenance acquired...

Paul, some of the Minisail guys might be interested in the bailers, as they fit straight in.
