Those of you with good memories will recall I gave away Fireball 66 a couple of years ago to a new owner who was keen to carry on light renovation required to get 'Clickiticlick' (a really original 1962/3 'transitional' Fireball i.e. fitted with trapeze in 1965 but never upgraded to carry a spinnaker) back on the water.
Through the UK Fireball Association I have been contacted by a chap who has just bought FB66 off e-bay sight unseen and immediately realised that a Fireball was not the sort of boat he was looking for. He is therefore looking to move her on. I'm not sure if much work has been undertaken since I let her go but it would be a crying shame if she was now abandoned.
If anyone is interested in taking her on (she's down in Gosport) please let me know and I'll put you in touch with the owner. If I had room to take her back myself I would like a shot!
