Finn for restoration

no idea of design/maker. Ipswitch. 99p start, so essentially free [at the moment] Too far for me to consider, but maybe someone out there fancies a go.

Re: Finn for restoration
More like a Tiptree marine Finn.
Re: Finn for restoration
Yes it's a Tiptree, which probably means it's slower and heavier than a Pearson. But...
If it's got a Needlespar mast it's worth buying for that alone, and with a bit of cleaning up would still make a useable classic, unless you wanted to be at the front of the fleet.

Mast described as a black top but it doesn't look right to me - far more black at the top than I've ever seen??? Was having a look with the same thought as Peter!

The Classic Finn site seems to be out of commission?

Yes, we're trying to get it incorporated as part of the BFA site without losing the useful content.

I do not know much about Finn Needlespar masts, were they similar in section to OK ones? If this one was on an OK I think it could be a Delta section which has a long black length at the top, as did the Boyce offering of the same section.
The totally round 3M section came with a shorter black, blue or red coloured section.
