Says built in 1960 but book says 1955 and I think that's correct

Yes, I would say this is really worth looking at. It's a Martine design which some recon is Holt's best design. Still a fine river boat and this one seems in remarkably original condition. ( odd double decker thwart though)
i do hope we see it at a CVRDA event one day.

says it's an OKAY but it's a merlin late 50's ix maybe?
There's also a very original Martine by holt still cheap and not much time to go - - a great CVRDA boat
and there's a ribbed one . says it no 849 which is the wrong sail no. it's a ribbed hull and therefore below 500. Looks like one of the first proctor designs. This one is in scotland. Type in Merlin rocket in the ebay search - then please someone bid!!!

Any of these are great CVRDA and vintage merlin boats.

Chris it appears to have a double thwart.
Is that original ?

No I doubt it. the original thwart is the lower one.
