And....

do remember I still have Wanderous, the oldest sailing Cherub in the UK...and still for sale:

Kevin and I have a beautiful classic Cherub for sale.
She is K698 - Wanderous, a Hawkesworth 2, based on the Spencer 2D. She has beautiful rolled decks, a semi-boxed fore-tank and no stern tank. She was built around 1963, so is now over 50 years old, but still really strong and will be easy to keep in good condition as long as you take care to keep her dry over the winter!
You can see some photos of her from about 10 years ago at:http://www.uk-cherub.org/doku.php/boats/698

You can see some video of her sailing close to here on the Tamar at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVpiPcW7rWY

And others I know will remember her sailing at Roadford Rally a few years ago. She would be a brilliant boat to bring to CVRDA rallies and could be easily sailed by a lightweight or young crew looking for a fun sail.
She has not had any work done on her since 2006, but she has always been kept inside and is in remarkable condition and would really need no more than a couple of w/ends of work to get her back on the water.
She is lying near Roadford Lake in West Devon.
If anyone would like to know more about her or come and see her, please contact me via Instant Messaging on this forum or by emailing me directly at ed<at>cvrda.org.
