National 12 1107

Post by Alan P. »

Hello All.

Came across this in a moment of idleness. To my non N12 eyes it seems very original indeed. Strong money through?

Yes, but don't you think all dinghies on lbc are expensive? It's a really nice boat, but it would be an epic journey retrieving it from Brittany! Dave Cooper

Hello Dave.
Perhaps she's worth the effort.
There is plenty of deck space on the ferries at this time of year. From your end the Newhaven to Dieppe would be a good one I think. Certainly cheaper than the Brittany Ferries routes, I've found.
At the weekend I'm travelling up to Derbyshire from the south coast to pick up my latest dinghy purchase (non CVRDA) before returning to Newhaven and Dieppe then a further 590 miles home. I think it was less than £40 extra for the boat trailer(under 5m). But I must confess that I was coming over to the UK anyway on a visit to Mother dear.
As to the asking price of this N12,you are obviously an avid Leboncoin looker. Asking prices for boats in France are generally higher compared with the UK but I think that negotiations are a bit more robust.
