It does, it appears to be one of the later Taylor Finns in pretty good condition.

This looks like a very nice boat, and one of the last of the Taylor double bottomed boats, they are still very quick downwind and comfortable to sail. A good buy for someone go on guys,be competitive and still eat all the pies.

Not a Finn but the prettiest GP14 I've seen for many a year.
Ho ho ho...wait till they try to get it measured!

Rupert,
That would be my guess - though if it were 14ft it could be a super tikki!
But a GP14........... NEVER!

The only GP with invisible chines:)
My money's on 470. It looks just like a covered boat outside a house we pass regularly. One day we'll stop and ask!

According to the commentary they have been sailing it, I presume at their sailing club, did nobody say that is not a GP, but more like a 420 or 470.

4nn shape to be sure but looks very big. May even be a Simoune. Only the (non-eBay) tape measure will tell.

If the local club thought it was a GP and gave them the GP handicap I'm sure that they'll be glad to see the back of it and its winning ways!!!!!!!!!

If someone knew that little about boats, it is a fair bet that they couldn't win in it even on a GP handicap. As JimC always says, the spread of sailor speed is far larger than the spread of handicaps!
