Bouyancy bags

Post by roger »

I am looking for a smallish bow bag and two small rectangular bags. Any one got some stashed away in a shed?

Roger ,i think i have an old firefly bow bag up in Wales that you can have with pleasure if any use . From what i can remember ( which actually isn't that much ) it was in quite good nick. I am going up to Wales in a week or so i'll dig it out .

We had some rectangulars from the Chandlery Barge for a tenner.

If you want the bags from the barge... I'll be in there again late this week/early next.

Shout and I'll check their stock

Duncan. Yes please. Let me know how much you want for it and how I can collect from you.

David could you look out for at least two small rectangular ones for me.

The bouyancy on Shoestring is a bit suspect (50 year old glue etc) and i thought a bow bag and two small ones in the aft section would help if Baltic wharf turns nasty again.

Having sunk Iska there last time I dont want to make it a double. :(

Roger,
Collected the firefly bouyancy bag from Wales , its now in Cornwall. Its the old holt plastic type (white) , got a couple of ,looks like bicycle inner tube repair patches on it , but blew it up and it stayed up. Also their is a small pillow bag you can have aswell, so you shouldn't sink!!!!!.
If you send me a personel e-mail with your address i'll send them on the next donkey leaving Cornwall . Or i am leaving for Wales up the M4 heading for the severn Bridge setting off about 6 in the morning from Cornwall tommorrow (sat ) so you could meet me on the M5 if easier. e-mail address duncanjss61@aol.com or 01841 541101 or mobile 07980456383 . :D
