It is a fair assumption that you'll be on the Finn stand at the Show? If so, we can look at the dates that will be published by the Finn Association for 2012. Even if you ignore that other sailing that is going on at Wemuf, there is still a bumper year planned - 505s at la Rochelle, Merlins at Oulton Broad.... the NLC at Whitefriars...it is all too much for an old man who can't manage the pull up the slip way!

(That'll be me, by the way. Just really developing the idea in another thread about why we decide to sail or restore the boats that we do, it seemed to fit in here. :wink: )

We've obviously been listening to the same music on the radio this afternoon Michael.

Got it in one! :lol:

But did it evoke the same sense of need to sail into the sunset?

wow, clearly am not in the loop on this one....

The question remains though - why would anyone want to sail a Finn on Lake Como, with the wind in their hair, when the old italian momas in black are moving faster as they totter along the shoreline!

David;

have you still not sailed a Finn?

you would know why they are soooo much the right boat for almost any conditions..

~even if you have no hair left~
