One on apollo duck went for @£400 recently. I recall quite a recent one on ebay as well.

thanks chaps, the boats and outboards one is sold, the ebay one has not kit, but I could be tempted....it can't be that hard to make Europe foils, can it?

How do you make foils anyway? Do you get a template or measurements?

Andy (Bloodaxe Foils) Paterson once told me that Europe foils are the most difficult to build on his list becaue the one design rules are very tight yet don't make a very free flowing shape so they are a lot of work.

I would hate to have to produce Europe foils - they are a very complex shape, with a semi eliptical rudder and round ended board.

well, she didn't buy the yellow apollo duck one, but she did buy an equally nice one (or so she says) which luckily does have foils...

I do like a happy ending.

That will be a nice boat - I'm sure I heard good things about JC's Europes.
