Open Canoe wanted

Post by Ed »

Just a quick call out to see if anyone knows of any open 15ft-ish canoes for sale at the moment.

Something like the Old Town Discovery 158 would be perfect:

If you have anything....or there is anything on your club-boards do drop me a line.

cheers

try a water sports centre - those are the sort they use and they often sell them off at reasonable prices. I think SW Lakes - Roadford and wimbleball use them.

This one belongs to a canoeist at Chippenham SCC, I don't know if it is sold yet.

Hi Ed,

they have them new in Costco for around £400. That seems to be the second hand price for them elsewhere

If you are interested, I can get the details & take some photos

hello,

both a bit unexpectedly so this site seems to be just what i need!!!!!
i have a old town discovery scout canoe for sale at the moment ,
sometimes a better quality s/hand one is a good buy compared to
a cheaper type new canoe, depends what you want.

Hi

I'm at present trying to find a Royalex boat for white water paddling. When I do my used Apache 16 will be for sale, hopefully soon. Keep in touch if you are interested. They appear to sail well, see some photos on Song of the Paddle in the blogs section, and the for sale section may have something you want.
