Wooden tiller(s) wanted

Post by rme_01 » Tue Jul 05, 2011 3:29 pm

I am looking for one or more 1.25m or thereabouts wooden tiller(s) with or without extension. If anyone has something suitable for sale I would be happy to pick up anywhere on a "straightish" line between Mid Wales, Leominster, Worcester, Coventry, Cambridge, Woodbridge.

Thanks Robert

you must have very long pickaxes in your neck of the woods!

I have 2 or 3 spares in Swindon.

But the reason they are spares is that they do not fit anything I have....

So I understand what is being said above about making your own.

You can travel far and wide and not find anything that fits.

Mine are all just over or under a metre. Buying a length of Ash from a decent timber merchant (who will let you look through the stack for straight grain) might be the answer if nothing comes from here.

Thanks for all yours. I am afraid Swindon is a bit out of my area so I won't take you up on that. I take the point on making a new one!
