British Moth Parts Wanted

Post by hall_g »

Hello everyone, I'm fixing up British Moth 533 "Whippet" having recently become completley hooked on these lovely little dinghies. I think some of you may know this boat - she has raced in CVRDA events in the past. Anyway, I'm interested in buying a decent sail for her, possibly a new boom, and possibly a new mast - all would need to be in very good condition please. If you have anything which you think might be suitable, please do let me know. Many Thanks, Gavin 07817 470972

Hi Roger, Thanks for your reply. I've just joined the Association and frequently have a look at the forum pages - unfortunately quite a lot of the things advertised there have been sold long ago. I will certainly keep checking though. I've just done my weekly couple of hours sanding down the interior of Whippet - a long-term labour of love if ever there was one! Best, Gavin
