Does anyone have/know of any sails for a hornet?
I am looking at buying one (hornet that is !!) not too sure of the age but it is wooden, don't know if that will relate to age! Going to have a good look at it on Sunday
Does a boat only qualify for CVRDA if it is built before 1965 or if the design is before 1965?
Will report what i find. Suppose that will relate to if it is CVRDA able.
Hornet sails
The design has to be before 65, and the boat more than 25 years old to qualify. We have 3 "wings", Vintage" for very old traditional construction boats, "Classic" for those designed and built before 65, and "Old" for those designed before 65 but built after. Examples might be a 1950's Tideway as a Vintage, a 1950's Firefly as a Classic and a 1970's Hornet as an Old. There is more somewhere on the site, probebly under "Wings". I'm sure Roger will be able to help on Hornet ages.

Pegasus I have a selection of old Hornet sails but they are old. 1 suit measured in 1976 one set earlier. Which boat do you have? The Hornet association are trying to put a register of all boats. Try posting on http://www.hornet.org.uk there are bound to be sails around.
