IYE Tiller for a Merlin

Post by Haymaker »

Does anyone have an IYE aluminium tiller lurking - needed for restoration of Merlin 1968.

Is that one of the black and white ones that slides onto the top of the stock?

If so, might have one once I finally get around to replacing the Lightning stock/tiller, but that could be a couple of months away.

Hi - That was quick!

Yes that's the tiller - not needed till next season so timing is no problem.

Hi Sam,
If Peter (Haymaker) has already sourced one thanks to Rupert then I would definitely be interested in yours. I also need one for a Merlin project so please let me know if yours is still available and some idea as how much you would like for it?

Hi Ian
The tiller is still here. For the record it is 1280mm long, the end pinch bolt is present and functional and I would describe it as in good condition.
A fiver plus any postage charge gets it
. Pm me and we will go from there if you want to go ahead

I've not got anywhere with replacing the stock yet, I'm afraid.
