Ah, OK....that makes sense....

that fills in some rowing company history for me. I wondered both what happened to Eton Boats and where ES Composites came from. I ordered some bits from them a while ago.

I raced against a two man Virus yole some years ago, sliding seat boat. We were in an 18ft traditional boat, (hanningfield skiff) we thrashed it by miles. The virus boats tend to have wide flat sterns that drag, plus the riggers are very weak.
