Hi all.

just went down to the field where I keep my Firefly Trailer to see what work it might need before taking Firefly up to BWSC....

and blow me down....if it ain't been bloody pinched! Actually it is more likely that the bloke who's field it is thought it had been deserted...forgot it was mine and gave it away....but nobody is saying naught!

Anyway the long and the short of it is that I am looking for a reasonable trailer which will take or be converted to take the Firefly, prefereably on its' trolley, so it needs a flat/straight back to it.....you know what I mean! Of course if anyone knows of or hears of a combi going cheap - Do holla!

Ah, yes...and all of those of you who keep a good eye out for cheap dinghies on ebay....if anything around 12ft comes up with a combi that might go cheap in the South or South West, do give a shout.

cheers

Ed

I would ring you but my mobile is broken and all my numbers are in it. I have a spare trailer (though it's not a combi). It came with my Fairy Finn and was originally for a Albacore. Give me a ring one evening to discuss.

Hi Ed,

I have something that looks home made that used to carry a finn. Looks like it could easily be converted to a base. If you want a photo or to look it over (Bristol) just let me know.

Thanks all....

Neil, I will ring.

Alan, I will bear it in mind....but hate borrowing trailers...never seems to work and too often the boat ends up getting damaged....plus the times when I would want to use it...like going to a cvrda event, I guess there is always the chance that you would want it anyway.

Nigel, Would love to see some photos, especially if it can be converted to a base. Have you got my email address? ur....kinda obvious....ed@cvrda.org.

thanks again

cheers

this is probobly not the thing to do, weeing as my request is kinda similar, well - the same really. I seem to have ended up with two OK's, and NO trailers, which is not OK. So..O you know the rest (sorry Ed to crash your request !(but that gets yuou back for suggesting I might have pissed about at the front of your 14, How one can piss about, whilst asleep I'll never know?)):D

stu i never said you were pissing about! just that you might be jealous of us having so much fun.

how did you end up with two OKs? I don't know give a man a garage and a drive and before you can say 'Wyche & Coppock' he's bought two more boats!

Nigel,

havn't seen the movie yet, but will soon,

cheers

Yes......nice trailer and close.....

but I suspect a bit big for a Firefly.

there are lots of other trailers around at moment, but they are all a bit long really. I spose I could just put it on back end of trailer...mmmmmm....will have a think.

cheers
