makrolon Mono Plastic

Post by RB2 »

Does anyone have a spare piece of 1mm thick 150mm long x 120mm clear platic for a transom flap for my Merlin 908? Had enough for one but don't really buying a .5/m2 sheet for one flap!

Thanks in advance

God! Just read my post again what dreadful spelling/grammar.

" 1mm thick clear plastic"

"fancy buying"

Cheers

Wish you'd posted earlier as we bought one at Beaulieu yesterday for our Merlins. Haven't any spare - may not even have enough - but .5 sq m isn't too much as they do get damaged. Ours are one piece across the transom with a couple of screws in the centre making a hinge.
The dealer did all the plastic for boat windows so maybe try a few places for offcuts.
