Not really Boat Chat, but just a few words to wish Big Al well as he goes into hospital today to be 're-booted' to sort out a heart irregularity so he can drive his Finn even harder.

Hi Alan,
Chose your surgeon with care! Wasn't there a chest specialist based out of the club at Thorpe Bay? The last thing you'd want is to be laid there, have the guy have a look at you and then say "didn't you come to the club with the hornets once" as he puts down the scapel and picks up a blunt butter knife...............................
And as for the east coast good wishes - same sensation as a kiss from your sister!
See you afloat soon hopefully

Ancient Geek!
Have you seen the other thread that is running under 'boats for sale'??
2920 - one of the very rare boats that are both designed and built by Don Woof.
Will try to get some photos organised!

Re: Alan Williams
Long after I left the class I'm afraid in my days Don Woof = Albacores, Enterprises (Benderprises!) and the occasional Fireball. My last MR was 2304 1970, sold on the beach after the last race of the Champs.
Simples.
