Rudder linked to boat

Post by Garry R »

I have just bought a nice fixed spoonback type of rudder in mahogany from a Firefly and on it is written the name Seaweed. Just out of interest does anyone have a record of this boat or how old it may have been. I will be using it on Vivette (937) in the right conditions and when I make a tiller.

Can't you use a Lidl broomstick?

That is a little close to the mark; Skyfly's tiller extension WAS a LIDL broomstick, until Aquarius, a much loved boat, arrived to join her, positively dripping with spares, including three spare tiller extensions!
