Edmund Bremner was the proud recipient of a cheque for services to the history of British yachting today. reports David Henshall.

Ed thanked his committee before returning to his garage to put another layer of veneer on his J.

No, it is true - I read it on a website and it quoted not only a respected yachting journalist, but the president of a well known international orgainization...
