Nationals Venues

Post by Garry R »

Taking note of the discussions elsewhere and being mindful of staying on topic there, apologies for the following.

NATIONAL VENUES (with apologies to the Jackson 5 (4)!!)

You and I must make a pact, we must bring old dinghies back
Where there are boats, I'll be there

I'll stick wood with epoxy glue, I'll have faith in plywood too
Call CVRDA and I'll be there

I'll be there at Clywedog too,
Build my world of decks around you, I'm so glad that I found you
I'll be there in sunny Dev-on
And to your sheets, I'll keep holding on

Fill your sails with wind at Shearwater
Pointing high that's all I'm after
At Frensham Pond, I'll be there
At Baltc Wharf I’ll helm you, with gentle sailing that respects you
At Brightlingsea, I'll be there

If you should ever find somewhere new, it’d better be a good venue
'Cause if it ain’t , I'll not be there
Don't you know, Gannet, yeah yeah
At the Nats we'll be there, just call our names, we'll be there

Garry! :|

Are the Jacksons CVRDA'ble? (Pre 1965 design, over25yrs old) or would they have to be called a "Lost class?"

We should be careful here. MJ et al could be a formidable group to lock horns with.
