Last year we mislaid our Mirror oars, and I was wondering if anyone coming to Roadford had a pair (I guess approx 7' but wouldn't matter too much) we could borrow for the weekend, please, while we wait for a 2nd hand pair to appear, magically, from somewhere! Somehow I can't bring myself to spend the £40 - £50 new ones would cost, at least not just before holiday time!
Alternatively, if someone has a pair they would like to sell, please let me know!
Thank you Mark, it will help kiddie entertainment a lot (and everyone else's watching me row!) if the wind is light at Roadford.
Garry, that sounds like a good comp - row - mize (sorry) between length for rowing and storage in the boat - many thanks.
Many thanks, but I managed to get some from Garry at the Bowmoor event. However, if you happen upon any Enterprise sized ones, (longer, maybe 7 1/2 feet?) I'd be interested, please!
always interested in any oars, especially longer ones.

Ok all I rem that when I clear out the scout hut I will go there and see how long the odd ones are. Anybody seeing enterprise sails going really cheap please let me know. Thanks Stephen
Getting as bad as the rest. Two boats and two tenders
Knowing the way the French pronounce things, I think stotty was thinking something different. My only thought is that scouting has changed a bit...I notice they are keeping the young and good looking ones, though!
