Chris . I am not a member of Corus sailing club . I'll get the wayfarer up to scratch before I think of doing anything with her . It may not even be a wayfarer as the hull seems right but there is no rear deck and it came with Pegasus sails ( No. 72 ) and a wooden mast . As soon as the rain clears up I'll take some pictures and try to clarify the matter . I don't know if I should do a restoration on it or just enough to use it .

Welcome Paul,

tell us more. Is she wooden or GRP? Does she have chines or is she round bottomed?

Accurate measurements make identification much easier also.

We do enjoy the occassional boat identification game :D.

Welcome Paul. You said earlier you werent sure whether to do a full restoration or just enough to enjoy her. We have peolpe from both camps. Some boats deserve the full works(see stripping gently thread) and some, like my wifes GP, just get enough done to keep them going. whichever way you go you will be made very welcome at any of our events whatever the condition of your boat.

They are usually found inside of transoms, on the hog, or on a thwart.
