me? Cherub-ic...at Netley!

Post by davidh »

What is it I ask about boats from Roadford... they keep appearing at Netley!!

Have they wised up to the perils of living west of the River Exe.... or are they just in need of a little bit more in the way of civilisation that can be had on a diet of pasties and cider!

Anyway I was at the club today and there is quite a pretty little Cherub - though in need of some tlc. I hunted around for a number but could find one, however the boat is called 'the cats whiskers'....and has Roadford stickers on!!

Pictures to follow.... and then one may ask...what will be the next boat to make the journey up the A303????

hohohoho

and there was me thinking that this post might have something to do with canoes.

Can't remember any 'modernish' cherubs at Roadford....although there have been a few CVRDA ones over the years.

Can't remember this on though myself....a photo would help

cheers

By an amazing coincidence Ed we had an IC out at the weekend - I think that is a classic one too! I'll get the number and post it here, along with some pictures of the Cherub!

Yes I recognise it as having been at Roadford but I do not believe it was a regular sailor. We still have a classic Cherub here now and it was out last week.

this is cherub 2303, a foreman 4 (g) sailed at Roadford by Tim Noyce and now sitting in the boat park at Hunts after thew lovely mr Noyce contacted me and asked if I wanted to give it a new home! Well of course I said yes (I'm just a girl who can't say no!) Look forward to seeing it taking part in the Hunts meet in a couple of weeks time, and hopefully more meets after that!
