Logo shows its not what I thought then...

But, that sail is not looking right for the mast either.

I was hoping for more pics of the hull... Unless I'm missing something very obvious, you can't make out the hull shape from the original image. Presumably it could be round bilge or any number of chines?

Its a funny one... it looks as if the further you get above the cockpit floor the less care was being taken about the build...

Just been surfing the net, and came up with "sabre" dinghy, have a google (other search engines are available :D ) and see what you think.......a lot of similarities....could be a modified one??

Any thoughts?

I am going this way on the 27th & 29th, unfortunately after the auction ends. If it doesn't sell and anyone wants me to take a look I can do so.

I've been following this thread for a while and am intrigued as to the final answer.

But - there is one observation that I think may help: Looking at the pictures, which are in themselves inconclusive, the only think that strikes me is the strong flavour of Peter Milne about the boat! Now I'm not saying that the boat is a Milne design, but feel that this may well be from the 'Milne' school of thinking!!

What I'd really like is more pictures and some quality measurements - is there anyone in reach of this place?

I do like the look of this little boat, but his starting price is too high for my liking, and it's too far to go. This is the second time around with no bids - it ends tomorrow - I wonder if he will list again but cheaper? Then I might have a punt. (L*ser money burning through pocket and no sense)

Just seen the underside pic: lower chines apparently rod straight and parallel until before mid length... Like the floor construction its another thing that makes me think the designer/builder might have had some exposure to mid/late 70s Cherubs. But the double chine layout is kinda weird. I fear it could be rather sticky in the light stuff.
