Bu**er it...

Post by Rupert »

Torn a muscle in my back, moving ToyBox2, the Mirror, into the garage having got her back from winter storage.

Doc today for pills, physio on Monday to try and speed the mend, but no sailing for me for a bit.

Went to the physio today - seems that my spine is so stiff, I pull muscles whenever I stretch, rather than it moving. Probably a life time of sailing (the physio is a sailor, too) caused it. So, had my spine pushed sideways, which wasn't painful at the time, but is aching like a goodun now! Lots of exercises to do, too.

beware; my back was stiff and not moving or flexible, lifetime of heavy lifting etc. Chiropractor sucessfully freed it all up. Great! except now I suffer loads of pain and loss of feeling in my back, knees, legs and feet.

Sometimes we lock up for a reason.
