42o Nigel, ideally. Thanks Max, we are looking at those. After yesterday's epic trip plus with the injured forearms I am trying to minimise the driivng.

Nigel, another mk1 megabyte coming to Hunts!

Whitefriars have a 420 with a dying hull (wooden inwhales rotting away). I'd check the condition of the ones in your red one!!

However the WSC boat has a reasonable set of kit on it..

Problem solved: he is taking on my Roland Europe. That brings the number of Europes at Hunts to six.

there are indeed two of them.....one is a small exuberant sailor at Hunts aged 14, and that is the one taking the Roland!

Seems very cheap if it is only 4 years old. Vaguely remember someone trying to develop them but can't find amnything on the web now. Anyone familiar?

An old Y&Y forum thread suggest the rig is pretty dire, and I have to say it doesn't look that impressive. Any way, he has now taken on ye olde rolande europe, which I am pretty pleased about. he is a competent little workman and will do the job well, plus he is an idiosyncratic boy and enjoys having soemthing different to the norm. He currently races the simoun 445, but wants something more competitive.
