ebay sales comment of the week

Post by roger »

Just had to put this up. Seen on ebay on advert selling a mirror.

Has been kept outside and as you can see and has collected the rain water which shows she doesn't leak!

Any other classic sales comments out there.

@nigel,

that reminds me of a friend at Baltic Wharf SC.

As a late teenager, he did an RYA course and asked the instructor what boat he should buy to continue his learning on.... The instructor suggested a Topper.....

So he went to the Dinghy show, went to the Topper stand and said he wanted a boat....to use as he had just got his RYA 1 and 2 and sailed on Bristol Harbour.

Of course said the Topper Rep, I have got just the thing for you.....An ISO.

I kid you not.

Strange thing was that it only took a few weeks before he had converted the ISO to a single-handed trapeze boat and he had a right giggle and used to scare the pants of the rest of us.

cheers
